cosette is adopted by jean valjean in victor hugos classic and timeless novel, les miserables.
this is the song from the musical score, where the dying fantine begs jean valjean to adopt her daughter.
adoption is everywhere and always has been and always will be.
awesome.
if you ever get the opportunity to see this musical rock opera- take it! there arent words for the amazingness of it.
