adoptee rights- progress

i heart progress in the adoption world, heres a lil bit involving adoptee rights to their original birth records!

even though this aired almost 3 years ago, its still worth celebrating and advocating for release of these records in all states.

i love that the study showed that so many myths involving keeping records closed are simply untrue. progress is often slow and can only be done one step at a time, but spreading the word so that more can be involved is going to help. if you are involved with adoption in any aspect, even if its an open one,
i encourage you and challenge you to find out how you can help 'the cause' and get adoptees their records so that more reunions can take place, so that healing can take place! there is a great peace that comes from the truth and knowledge of who you are and where you came from. EVERYone is entitled to that peace.
